A field day aimed to showcase the Lean Farm Project approach as adopted by the team at Glenaray Station and a chance to interact with 'The Lean Farm Project' author Jana Hocken.
The team at Glenaray Station have worked alongside Jana to implement the ‘lean’ approach which aims to maximise input to your farming systems including staff efficiency and productivity, and utilisation of farm facilities including location and ease of use. Jana will be running a workshop session allowing you to see how you can adopt this approach to your own farming system. The team at Glenaray will give you an insight to how they have implemented the approach on farm and what effect it has had on their team and farm productivity. This will be followed by a farm tour of Glenaray Station to see firsthand how they have been implementing the lean approach and what impact it has had on their own farming business.
